Kuwait‚s cricket has witnessed a great deal of development and we owe it to ACC / ACF. The progress has been made in all the aspects of the game. It not only includes players rather Umpires, Coaches, sports medicine consultants and cricket administrators have benefited from different programs of ACC. The details of courses / programs is as following:
UMPIRES COURSE:
In Kuwait in 2001 for local umpires, resource person was Mahboob Ali Shah.
In Pakistan in 1999 for Asian countries, one delegate attended.
In Malaysia in March 2002 for Asians countries, two delegates from Kuwait attended the seminar.
In Kuwait in January 2003 for local umpires. The resource person was Peter Manual.
COACHES COURSES:
In Kuwait in 2001 for ACC / ECB for Asian countries. Four local coaches attended the course.
In Qatar 2002. Multinational course four delegates represented Kuwait.
In Pakistan in 2002 again a multinational course and one representative was invited to attend.
In UAE in February 2003 for Asia. On delegate participated.
CRICKET ADMINISTRATORS COURSE:
In February 2002 a multi-national course was held in Lahore, Pakistan and two delegates attended the same
GROUND CURATOR COURSES:
In 2000 in Hong Kong a course was conducted for ground curators and two delegates benefited from it.
In 2002 another Curator course was held this time in UAE and again two delegates attended on behalf of Kuwait.
SPORTS MEDICINE & FITNESS COURSE:
ACC organized this course in Bangalore, India in January 2003. One delegate from Kuwait benefited from this course.
